Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, "we," "our," "us," and "MegaView" refer to MegaView Science Co., Ltd. "BugDorm" is the trademark of MegaView. "BugDorm Store" is the online shopping store of MegaView. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
Pricing
Product online pricing are ex-works (prices at MegaView's premises), Taichung, Taiwan.
NOTE MegaView does not charge tax for international orders. Any shipment, however, may be subject to Customs charges as the package arrives its destination. All Customs charges are to be borne by the recipient. To avoid possible Customs fee, please supply tax-exempt certificates to us when ordering. See "Shipping" section below for more information.
Payment
We ship upon receipt of payment. You will be offered two payment methods when you check out from the BugDorm Store: credit / debit card (via PayPal) or bank transfer.
- Credit / Debit Card (via PayPal)
If you choose "Credit / Debit Card (via PayPal)" as your payment method, the BugDorm Store will take you to the PayPal secured website (http://www.paypal.com) and walk you through the credit card payment procedures. You do not need to own a PayPal account to make credit card payments via PayPal.
PayPal accepts VISA Card, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express and complies with their respective regulations. BugDorm Store keeps no record of your credit card information. Transactions will appear on your credit card statement as "PayPal *BUGDORM".
NOTE Credit card payments may be rejected by PayPal because billing and shipping address do not match bank records. This is especially common with governmental and institutional cards. Please make appropriate adjustments at PayPal and inform us of the correct addresses.
If you have selected "Bank Transfer," a US$25 surcharge will be added to the order to cover fees charged by your bank and intermediary banks. The following information is required when wiring funds:

You will receive an email from us with instructions on how to wire payment. Please mark our invoice number to help us process your orders efficiently.
Shipping
Most orders are processed and shipped within three business days after receiving payment. Shipment will be marked with the information as supplied when you register at the BugDorm Store. The five shipping options are Federal Express (FedEx), United Parcel Service (UPS), Express Mail Service (EMS), Air Parcel, and Surface Air-lifted Parcel. Please note that packages shipped by Air Parcel and Surface Air-lifted Parcel are not traceable. We recommend any orders with a time constraint be shipped by FedEx, UPS, or EMS.

Since postal regulations on package weights and sizes vary with country, orders to be shipped by EMS, Air Parcel, and Surface Air-lifted Parcel may be packed into several boxes and shipped separately. These boxes may not arrive at the same time. Delivery by any method may also be delayed for Customs clearance. Please contact us one week after the due date if the package has not yet arrived, so we can initiate an investigation.
NOTE By ordering from us, the buyer is considered an importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country into which the goods are shipped. MegaView assumes no responsibility for Customs-related obstacles. Any shipment may also be subject to Customs charges (including surcharges, Customs duties, assessments, fines, and governmental penalties) levied as the package enters the country. All Customs charges are to be borne by the recipient. To avoid possible Customs fees, please email or fax tax-exempt certificates to us when ordering. These certificates, however, do not guarantee exemption from Customs-related charges or obstacles. Please contact local customhouse for detailed information.
Warranty
All shipments are packed to ensure safe transport under ordinary handling. We are not liable for loss, damage, or delay caused by events we cannot control. These include but not limited to acts of God; perils of the air; weather; acts of public enemies, war, strikes, civil commotion, and inspection by governmental authorities.
Please carefully check products as soon as you receive the shipment. If, on arrival, the goods are defective or damaged, do not return them to us. Instead, please supply proof of purchase (invoice number or any corresponding communications) and inform us of problems (attach photos if possible) or missing parts within two weeks of receiving the goods. At our cost, we will send you replacement parts via Surface Air-lifted Parcel (estimated shipping time: 21-28 business days) unless stated otherwise.
Our products are not meant for applications not specified in product documentation. Our offer to replace goods within two weeks of receipt applies only to the original buyer of BugDorm Store and is not transferable.
Cancellation, Rejection, Return, & Refund
All orders can be cancelled and refunded before the carrier picks up the package. Any order canceled after the package has left MegaView's premises in Taichung, Taiwan, is considered rejection of the shipment by the buyer. All rejected products are returned to MegaView.
BugDorm Store allows most products to be returned for a refund as long as MegaView has not discontinued sale of the item and as long as the item is unopened and retains all original accessories. Claims should be made within two weeks of receiving the products. See online product description for refunds ineligibility.
NOTE All returns, including shipments rejected for any reason, are subject to a restocking fee (20% of the value of the returned prouct). This restocking fee is deducted from the refund amount. Shipping charges, handling fees, and bank surcharges will not be refunded. Buyers are also responsible for returning shipping charges and Customs fees.

You will be notified as soon as MegaView receives your shipment. You can expect the refund amount to be credited to your original payment method one week after we receive the shipment. The actual turnaround time for refunds, however, depends on policies of banking institutions for making the funds available to you. |
