Of same materials and dimensions of BugDorm-4030 insect cage, each BugDorm-4030D has sleeves on opposite panels for handling insects inside the cage. Each sleeve has an elastic band for wrapping around the wrist to prevent insects from escaping.

Top and front panels are of clear plastic for easy observation.

Left to right (click to enlarge): 1) elastic band on sleeve prevents critters from escaping;
2) dual sleeves convenient for working inside the cage

BugDorm-4D series insect cage is constructed so that support poles are outside
the enclosure. There are no places for insects to hide inside the cage.

Assembly

Thread one pole into each of twelve sleeves of BugDorm.
Connect poles with splints.
